International Symposium on Promoting Recovery of Young People with Psychosis: The iFEVR and iphYs Joint Meeting in Milan 2016          

The iFEVR meeting, held jointly with iphYS is coming up on October 19 in Milan – the day before the IEPA conference begins. A great program is being organised which will be announced soon. However, there will also be a BOLTS FROM THE BLUE section in both the iFEVR and iphYS portions of the day.

What is Bolts from the Blue?

Are you or your team working to support education and/or employment outcomes in young people with psychosis or other mental health disorders and have something to share?

Are you or your team working on physical health issues with young people with psychosis or other mental health disorders and have something to share?

Do you have an innovation or inspiration from the front line?

In addition to the iphYs & iFEVR symposium speakers, we have a “Bolts from the Blue” session where we are looking for:

• 5 speakers for the educational and employment focus presentations, and
• 5 speakers to speak about improving physical health issues

We are looking for 5 minute presentations with a maximum of 2 powerpoint slides per presentation.

Submissions close on August 12th 2016 and selected speakers will be notified by August 22nd.

• maximum of 100 words to describe your innovation or inspiration relating to physical health issues/or education and employment issues in young people with psychosis or emerging psychosis
• presenting speaker name, title, & affiliation, including city/country and email address

The meeting is free and registration is opening soon and limited to the first 100 registrants.
